Melancong ke London: Tourist VAT Refund & Scammer

1. Kisah VAT

Bagi yang berbelanja besar di London tu, mungkin dah biasa claim tax refund 

Bagi diriku yang RM seciput ni, nak cerita lah juga misscommunication atau misinterpretation atau miss luck and therefore miss the money huhu.

Semasa saya shopping di bicester village, saya ada claim juga VAT di pejabat VAT di Bicester village tu..dapatle beberapa pound cash. Ada beberapa tak lepas kerana katanya nilai bawah 50 pound, kena submit di Heathrow. okleh..kakcik akur (walaupun mat salleh yang jaga kaunter tu tak la brp peramah orgnya, mungkin krn penat explain kot kat tourists, one of them is me)

ok duh, hari balik ke Malaysia, dari heathrow airport, saya pon pergi la ke kaunter VAT di airport tuh. punyela ramai manusia beratur, kena heret troli dgn brg2 shopping tu sekali. semasa tgh beratur, ada sorang staff P Tax mamat Arab (rata2 yg kerje kaunter kat heathrow tu most are Arabs....) ajak line kami utk naik ke kaunter atas, katanya to speed up the process. so kakcik dgn beberapa tourist lain pon pergi..isi borang tuh kerana katanya akan dicreditkan ke akaun..cepat je..senang hati tak beratur panjang di aras bwh. Silap kat sini kerana rushing, tak ingat borang apa yang diberi.

Sebulan lepas tu..pada kad kredit dpt statement..

ada 3 transaction kredit ke akaun (Ok seronok)

ada 1 transaction "tax fund rejected - GBP13.01" ditolak dari akaun ku (**&&^)

heh kalu GBP13 convert kpd RM brp tu..almost RM70plus ...

kalu 13 hengget tu boleh le dimaafkan kot.

dlam hati, ish apa yg silap nih, mesti ada yg tak kena, tetiba duit aku pulak kena cekau.

So saya ingat nak komplen kpd P Tax tuh..cari di portal mereka, tak npk pun email contact info. Mcm nak nyorok jeh. last2 gi msg kat fb..dijawab pulak..mrk suh emelkan details. 

So maknanya saya tak hantar balik borang Tax tu dan perlu custom stamped. Huish rasa tak baloi. Silapnya bagi info kad kredit kerana katanya nak credited to card credit.

HU HU HU. Len kali berhati-hati bagi info kad kredit dan sign borang..nampaknye kes VAT ni tak untung (kpd saya lah), kecuali yg dapat terus cash kat sana. Sib tak beratus ke beribu ribu hinggit..hihihii

2. Kisah Scammer

Di mana-mana saja tentu ada penipuan jika kita tidak berhati-hati. Di London hari tu sedang kami berjalan-jalan dari Hard Rock Cafe menuju ke Oxford Street, tiba-tiba sebuah kereta Merc berhenti. Kawasan situ agak sunyi, ada kereta-kereta parking di tepi jalan. Pemandu (macam Italiano) itu tiba-tiba membuka cermin kereta dan menyapa kami: 
Hi Are u Malaysians.. 
--Yes we are. 
I like Malaysians. Assalamualaikum! (sambil bersalam2 dgn H)
..Yes Yes :P
Bla-bla...I would like to give you presents..
--Huh presents..why?? (dlm hati excited jugok)
Because ur very nice, bla bla......(ayat conman)
...???
Here, I have leather coats for both of you. They are very expensive, I am a fashion designer (sambil tunjukkan beberapa kot/blazer kulit bulu2, bagi name card)
--OO why are u giving us..surely its very expensive (cuak dah)
Hah..I need some money, because I lost some in a club.. (muka sedih...)
--But we dont have much money and we are going to Primax to shopping (tadi ko kata free/present??)
How much u have lady? (Sbb aku kot pegang duit)
...uh Around fifty pound (cover..n dah bau scam nye)
Oh, I need more money to buy petrol for my car (Macam aku kisah)
...Its ok, we dont need the coats, thank you (H tarik aku, terus blah cepat2, kami patah balik ikut jalan lain,  takut jugak dia keluar pistol ke tembak ke huhuhu)


Perkara yang dibimbangi:
-Tu brg curi, tiba-tiba ada polis cari nanti kan susah di negara org
-Takkan ada org nak kasi free, even jual murah pun 
Moralnya: sah scammer &8%$#
